Cody Culberson
Cody was born and raised in and around Fort Worth, TX., and graduated from Aledo High School. After graduation, he moved to Houston to attend the University of Houston Downtown branch. After sweating out his weight as a resident in the swampy city, he decided to finish up his degree at the University of North Texas in Denton where he majored in English Literature. It was in Denton where he met his wife, Brooke. They were married in July 2014, and spend their days in their old house with their three kiddos.
Hey Cody. What are your favorite books?
Anything by Donald Miller. The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls, Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning.
Childhood cartoon?
Probably Ren & Stimpy for its grotesque humor (growing up with two older brothers makes you value that sort of thing) and sloppy animation.
What do you love most about being on staff at The Table?
It is one of the warmest, most genuine places that I have had the pleasure to step into. It is relational, it is accepting, and it is wholeheartedly pursuing those things in the name of Jesus.
